Baghdad Council calls for increasing its allocations

Baghdad Provincial Council called for increasing the financial allocations allocated to meet service needs.
The head of the Administrative Divisions Committee in the Council, Muhammad Al-Shaalan, explained to Al-Sabah that the Council re-examined the 2023 budget plan after obtaining the approval of the Ministry of Planning to arrange its formulation in a way that achieves justice in the process of distributing financial allocations between Baghdad’s regions, as well as including service and quality projects.
He added that the amount allocated for the 2023 budget is 400 billion dinars, which covers only a small percentage of the projects, indicating that the areas on the outskirts of Baghdad will be compensated within the current year's budget, and projects will be included to rebuild the damaged areas.
