The Protection Authority issues more than {1100} smart cards

The Social Protection Authority at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs issued (1169) smart cards from the special meal for the disabled, orphans and diabetics within three days of its launch.
The head of the Social Protection Authority, Dr. Ahmed Al-Moussawi, told Al-Sabah: "The Authority continues to issue smart cards for new beneficiaries in the social protection departments in Baghdad and the governorates and continues to receive hundreds of beneficiaries daily."
Meanwhile, the Special Needs Department at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs granted a license to 541 private nurseries in Baghdad and the governorates.
The Director General of the Special Needs Department, Muzaffar Nouri Al-Halfi, told Al-Sabah that "among the activities of the Special Needs Department for the year 2024 is granting a license to 541 private nurseries in Baghdad and the governorates, with 167 licenses in the capital, Baghdad, and 374 licenses in the governorates, in addition to closing 133 nurseries according to legal procedures.
