Construction of two residential cities in Muthanna

-Muthanna Governorate has approved the construction of two residential cities within the city of Samawah and the district of Warka, as part of the efforts made to solve the housing crisis in the governorate.
The Director of Planning in Muthanna, Qabel Hamoud Al-Barakat, said in a statement to "Al-Sabah": There are two sites that have been approved for the construction of two residential cities, the first at the southern entrance to the city of Samawah, and the second in the district of Warka, in addition to the existence of proposals to establish other cities within administrative units in Muthanna, but they are still under study.
In the same context, he noted that the planned housing projects are located outside the main cities, which he noted comes in order to ensure urban expansion in addition to providing services that are compatible with modern visions in construction, which must take into account environmental and heritage factors and the characteristics of the buildings that are constructed in those areas.
