Two trillion dinars to launch housing loans

The Ministry of Construction and Housing revealed that there are negotiations with the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance has been approached to allocate an amount of two trillion dinars or more in order to launch housing fund loans.
The ministry’s spokesman, Istibraq Sabah, stated to “Al-Sabah” that the negotiations with the Central Bank came after all the loan amounts were exhausted, as loans cannot be opened unless there is financial funding.
He also confirmed that the Ministry of Finance has been approached to release the amounts allocated for loans, within the budget that also exceeds one trillion, in order to resume their distribution, especially since many applicants were not accepted because of this, stressing that they have priority in obtaining loans.
