Documents obtained by Baghdad Today, Monday (September 30, 2024), revealed that nearly 260 officers in the Ministry of Interior were included in the procedures of the Accountability and Justice Commission.
According to the documents, "The Supreme National Commission for Accountability and Justice addressed the Ministry of Interior regarding those included in its procedures, including dozens of officers of varying ranks, including the Director General of Nationality, Passports and Residence at the Ministry of Interior, Major General Nashat Al-Khafaji."
The documents also included names of people who were included in the procedures of the Accountability and Justice Commission, but who did not hold a position, while others included in the ranks of brigadier general, major general, captain, lieutenant colonel, and dozens of commissioners.
