The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has begun a labor market survey to create new training workshops for the unemployed. Ministry spokesman Najm Al-Aqabi told Al-Sabah that his ministry has begun a labor market survey with the aim of creating new training workshops that are compatible with the local labor market and focusing on improving the services provided to the targeted groups by the ministry and seeking assistance from international organizations concerned with the labor and vocational training sector and benefiting from their expertise in this field.
In the same context, he pointed out that his ministry has prepared plans to invest in the workforce represented by human capital through the database of job seekers, and ways to empower youth through its special programs to train them, develop their skills, support them, and grant them loans in order to find suitable job opportunities for them, in addition to establishing their own projects to achieve the goals that contribute to reducing unemployment rates in the country.
