Parliamentary Security: Our forces are ready to defend the country

The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee blocked the path of those who doubt the capabilities of our security forces in all their branches, when it announced the readiness of these forces to confront any aggression on Iraqi territory or attempt to violate sovereignty.
The committee's confirmation came after hosting the advanced staff in the Ministry of Defense.
Committee member Mohammed Rasool Al-Rumaithi told Al-Sabah: "The committee met with the advanced staff in the ministry, which included the Chief of Staff of the Army and his assistant, the Commander of the Army Aviation, the Commander of the Land Forces, the Commander of Air Defense, the Commander of the Iraqi Air Force, the Director General of Military Intelligence, and the Director General of Planning in the ministry." He added that "the results of the meeting were very good through reviewing Iraq's military strength in all these aspects, and its modern and advanced capabilities in confronting any external aggression." He explained that "the morale of all leaders and soldiers is high to ward off the dangers that the country may be exposed to now or in the future."
