    Minister Nuri al-Maliki in a speech to the Iraqi people on the occasion
    of the end of the visit of Imam Kadhim (AS), yesterday, the clergy to
    condemn the opinions of atonement that incite the murder of the Iraqi
    people, stressing that the revival of the anniversary of the martyrdom
    of Imam Kadhim (AS) proved that the Iraqis they have become united in
    the face of attempts to stir up sedition.

    Maliki
    said in his speech that "the visit of Imam Kadhim (AS) proved beyond
    doubt, the failure of the armed groups PDQ wedge sectarian sedition
    among the Iraqi people," calling "to condemn the clerics inflammatory of
    takfirist opinions and covering the killings of Iraqis."

    He
    stressed that "we are now united in the face of attempts to stir up
    sedition", praising the role of the security forces and the Baghdad
    Operations Command in preserving lives and public and private property.
