Independent High Electoral Commission confirmed the decision of the three presidencies need to postpone provincial elections to the legislation from the House of Representatives.
A member of the Board of Commissioners and official UNHCR spokesman Miqdad Sharifi, " The Commission is ready to hold elections next year and so informed on all sides , " noting that " the final decision for the three presidencies arrived for the Commission which in turn sent it to parliament being needs a legislative intervention of the House of Representatives this subject . " .
He pointed out that " the Commission has more than an alternative plan [a, b, c] and dealing with the objective conditions which have the full ability to manage any electoral event inaccordance with these plans prepared."
