    Twilight News / industrialists called on the Jordanian government, the need to move quickly to communicate with the Iraqi authorities to Jordan exemption from payment of customs duties recently imposed by the national exports by up to 30%. 
    Quoted the Jordanian Al - Ghad newspaper, for the industrialists that the continued imposition of tariffs on goods exported to the Iraqi market that will lead to the loss of this market , which is one of the traditional core markets for national products. 
    The Iraqi authorities have decided to impose customs duties on all goods imported by up to 30% as part of the commitment with the International Monetary Fund to additional protection of the national industry according to previous statements by the Iraqi Ambassador in Amman Safiya al - Suhail. 
    Industrialists urged the government to the need to exclude the Kingdom through Inanah Convention , which facilitates trade agreements signed between the two countries , which proposes to allow the entry of Jordanian products to the Iraqi market without any charge. 
    It is noteworthy that the national exports declined during the past two years to Iraq by 40 percent and valued at $ 695 million over the past year, while the $ 1.2 billion in the year 2014 
    saw the first ten months of this year , a decline in Jordanian exports to Iraq increased by 33%, to reach to 276.2 million dinars, compared to 414.9 million dinars in the same period of last year, and was the main cause of this decline is due to the continued closure of the Trebil border crossing between the two countries.
