Iran has stopped supplying Iraq with electricity

It announced that the Energy Committee in the House of Wasit province, on Sunday, stopped the Iranian electricity supply processed for Iraq amounting to 1250 MW, since the beginning of the new year 2017, due to the debt "accumulated," indicating that the Ministry of Electricity called on all citizens to rationalize consumption and raise excesses to avoid increasing the hours of the pieces.
The Chairperson of the Committee, hoping Ugaili, in an interview to the (long-Presse), "The Ministry of Energy of Iran halted equipped of Iraq's electricity supply across the four lines, Khrmchehr- Bozrah, Krkhh - Building, Mirsad - Diyala and Serpil Zahab - Khanaqin," noting that " the four lines are out of service altogether, because of the backlog on the Iraqi government to the Iranian Ministry of energy debt. "
