    Signed Shell Iraq Petroleum Development, a contract with the company , "Halliburton" to develop the Majnoon oil field in 2018, 2019 as pointed out that the development work will include the drilling of development wells and the implementation of the rehabilitation of wells Alhakl.oukalt South Oil Company, in a press statement received (range ) a copy of it, that " the company (Shell Iraq) signed a contract with the company (Halliburton) to drill 23 to 30 new oil wells in the layer Musharraf within the Majnoon oil field over a period of two to three years , " indicating that " the contract was signed under the auspices of the southern oil company. " 
    SOC emphasized that " the importance of the contract is that it will lead to the development and production rates going up field." 
    Turn Mustafa Jihad, media advisor to the Shell Iraq, said in a statement ( the long - Presse), " The Shell Company and Iraq since the 2013 Iraqi budget supply the high financial revenues." 
    Jihad said that " a contract to develop wells in the oil Majnoon field was signed in the presence of representatives of the South Oil Company and Halliburton , which in turn will implement the Agreed Framework with Shell Iraq company which proved completion of an effective drilling and efficient to save time and cost." 
    Shell official in Iraq said that "Halliburton International Company will move three drilling platforms in order to develop the Majnoon field by drilling development wells and the implementation of the rehabilitation of wells during 2018 and 2019". 
    For his part, Ahmed Atallah, General Manager of the Majnoon field (range Press) that "Shell Iraq company, is looking to continue its work to provide the best results for our partners and the Iraqi government , " noting that "re - drilling in the field Saahlh to continue plans for production at the same time develop a greater fields in the world. "

" 
    Ugaili added that " the company already launched two tenders to drill 13 new wells in the field, six of them in the first, seven in the second, in agreement with the Iraqi Oil Ministry , " indicating that " the company has prepared a plan for the development of the central processing center in the field include associated with the extraction of oil gas processing and build five gas power plants for the needs of field and processing Badrah, (80 km east of Kut city), about ten megawatts of energy. " 
    Chairperson of the Committee on Energy and explained that " the gas processor in excess of the required field will be pumped through pipes to the Wasit thermal station , " pointing out that " the amount of that gas up to 100 million cubic feet in addition to 600 tons per day of liquid which supplies gas filling gas plants, with the amount of up to 300 tons per day of sulfur, it can be used in many industrial processes and thus the Badra oil field reached peak production. " 
    Ugaili said that " the company continues to achieve a partnership with the local government in Badra through social contribution payments amounting to five million dollars, to implement service projects in the judiciary and respects."
