Abadi meets with US Joint Chiefs of Staff and discusses with him the battles in Mosul

Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi met on Monday with US Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joseph Danforth, while the two sides discussed liberation battles against the terrorist.
"Abadi, in his office Monday, is the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Joseph Danforth, and his delegation," the prime minister said in a statement.
"The delegation included the commander of the international coalition forces in Iraq and Syria, General Stephen Townsend, the senior adviser to US President Donald Trump and Gerard Kouchner, the senior adviser to US national security adviser Tom Bosert, as well as the US ambassador to Iraq, Douglas Soliman," the statement said.
"During the meeting, they discussed the conduct of the battle in Mosul, the support of the international coalition for Iraq, the training and arming of the Iraqi forces, and the file of the displaced," the statement said.
For his part, the delegation stressed, "according to the statement," its support for the government in its war against terrorism, "and expressed" admiration for the development of combat capabilities of the Iraqi forces and they achieve victories on the dashing. "
US President Donald Trump's adviser, Jared Kouchner, and his daughter Ivanka arrived in Iraq with US Joint Chiefs of Staff General Joseph Danford.
