    The World Bank said on Saturday his support for Iraq's economic reforms and development through an integrated financial management system, while the Iraqi government welcomed the steps in the area of ​​resource management and the development of visions of reform.

    The Finance Ministry said in a statement issued on the sidelines of a joint meeting between the Iraqi delegation headed by the Minister of Finance Agency Abdul Razzaq al-Issa and in the presence of Prime Minister Advisor to the appearance of Mohammed Saleh and a number of Ministry of Finance officials and the World Bank team and its representatives in Baghdad as part of the spring meetings of the IMF and World Bank held in Washington, DC, and received , Alsumaria News, a copy of which, "the World Bank representatives have indicated that economic reforms represent the need to get to the head of an integrated system for the management of the financial operation of the state at the federal and local level."


    The ministry added that "the meeting pointed out that a significant percentage achieved by the Iraqi institutions in this area, giving room appropriate to the World Bank to support the budget and reconstruction projects within the time limits required to achieve its objectives."

    The ministry continued, "The World Bank welcomed the steps the Iraqi government in the field of resource management and the development of visions of reform in coordination with international organizations and financial institutions."

    The Minister of Finance Agency Abdul Razzaq al-Issa, on Friday, the World Bank has expressed its readiness to allocate nine million dollars to support the associated gas investment in Iraq.
