Parliamentary Finance: Corruption prevents the designation of a competent minister of the Ministry of Finance

BAGHDAD / The deputy head of the Finance Committee, Faleh al-Sari, said Monday that the performance of the Ministry of Finance is still the weakest link in the economic cycle of the country, citing the reason not to be named a minister so far. He said in a statement today: The Minister of Finance or an agent adversely affected the performance of the ministry, although it is a federal ministry responsible for the formulation of fiscal policy and the provision of funds allocated in the budget law.
