    Met with Iyad Allawi, Vice President of the Republic, President of the Arab League, the Egyptian President, the House of Representatives and a key Egyptian ministers, during a visit to Egypt a two -day visit.
    Allawi discussed, the battle against developments Daesh and disagreements witnessed by the recent Gulf countries.
    The Vice - President Iyad Allawi, the need for openness and frankness with regard to efforts to eliminate terrorism and confront extremist ideas especially in light of what the region is witnessing the current developments.

    Allawi said that " the meeting with Aboul Gheit addressed the concerns of Arab and concerns of Iraq and the region in detail and Iraq in the post - Daesh and the course of the political process in Iraq and prepare for new elections, and the meeting dealt with the repercussions of the situation in the region due to what is happening in Syria and other new divisions that began to float on the surface in many Arab countries. "
    He pointed Allawi, that " the elimination of Daesh became just around the corner and what concerns us post the elimination of Daesh", stressing that "it is also important how to fortify the Iraqi society and how it believes extremist ideas and terrorism in the future."
    The Vice President of the Republic had arrived in Cairo on Wednesday, in a two - day visit, during which he met a number of senior Egyptian officials to discuss boosting cooperation in various fields and the latest developments in the region.
    Said Allawi 's office in a statement that " the Egyptian Prime Minister Sharif Ismail, met with Iraqi Vice President Iyad Allawi and his accompanying delegation , " noting that " the two sides discussed the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between Egypt and Iraq relations in various fields , including hurt in the interests of the two brotherly peoples."
    Later, Allawi met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al- Sisi, and discussed with him the latest developments on the ground in the war on Daesh, and the future of national reconciliation in Iraq.
    Furthermore, he received the President of the Egyptian Parliament Ali Abdel Aal, in his office, Iyad Allawi, and discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries
