Syria counts on Baghdad International Fair to market its products in Iraq

DAMASCUS, (SANA) - Syrian Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Mohammad Samer Al-Khalil announced on Thursday his country's participation in the Baghdad International Fair, pointing out that his country relies on the exhibition to market Syrian products in the Iraqi market.
"The participation in international exhibitions gives us an opportunity to learn more about consumer habits and the nature of popular products and prices in these countries," the Syrian newspaper Al-Thawra reported. "The ministry has organized an active participation of Syrian private companies in the exhibition The most important food exhibition in Russia and one of the most important exhibitions in the region. "
He added that "the next participation will be in Iraq at the Baghdad Fair for direct sales, which lasted a full month and will be located in the General Organization for Exhibitions and International Markets and the support and development of local production and exports and the Union of exporters and a number of federations and private sector companies.
