The Turkish armed forces have raised the level of their military exercises in the Silopi-Khabur area near the Iraqi border and confirmed "the participation of additional military units".

The Turkish armed forces continue their maneuvers near the Khabur border crossing on the Turkish-Iraqi border, which is located in Silopi district of Sharnak province. The exercises, which began on September 18, are in front of the parking lot of trucks, which are three kilometers from the Khabour border crossing.

The soldiers are conducting intensive patrols to provide security for the site of the maneuvers surrounded by barbed wire, in which a temporary headquarters has been set up. The exercise field also includes an emergency intervention center in anticipation of any possible situations.
