[ltr][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]BAGHDAD, March 3 (UPI) - The Liberal Bloc has announced the readiness of Sadr's leader Muqtada al-Sadr to enter into a political alliance with Haider al-Abadi after achieving several conditions.
She said
MP for the Liberal Zeinab Sahlani in a press statement, "The support of the Liberal bloc to the Prime Minister, is in order to overcome the crises experienced by Iraq, and move to the new stage."
"The continuation of Abadi in the post of prime minister for the next session, depends on the electoral seats it gets, and of course the new political alliances."
"The entry of the Liberal bloc in an electoral alliance with the prime minister is not excluded, but it is subject to several conditions, including completion of the process of eliminating corruption and accountability of spoilers, in addition to opening a transparent and fair investigation in the massacre of Spyker and the fall of Mosul.
Sahlani stressed that "the most important condition is the survival of Abadi on his moderate approach without leaning to one side at the expense of Iraq's sovereignty and the interest of the country."
There are only six months left for the date of elections in the country, where blocs and political parties are preparing for new alliances to strengthen their chances of holding sovereign positions in the country, at a time when observers are likely to receive Prime Minister Haider Abbadi the confidence of a second term after achieving important achievements, And manage the file crisis with Erbil.
