European Parliament approves arms embargo on Saudi Arabia[/rtl]

(International: Euphrates News) The European Parliament approved a resolution recommending a ban on the sale of arms to Saudi Arabia, where voted 539 deputies, 13 deputies against him, while 81 abstained.
According to international news agencies, "the resolution calls for the delivery of urgent humanitarian assistance to Yemen, and finding a political solution to the Yemeni problem by reducing tensions and clashes in the country."
"The resolution called on the EU High Representative for Security and Foreign Policy, Federica Mugrini, to take action to develop a strategy towards Yemen and urgently."
"EU member states continued to sell arms to Saudi Arabia after the start of the crisis in Yemen," Mugrini said.
On September 13, the European Parliament adopted a resolution calling for a ban on the sale of arms to Saudi Arabia because of its violations in Yemen.
Earlier this year, the European Parliament approved a draft resolution imposing an arms embargo on Saudi Arabia, which leads the alliance in Yemen.
