    "The strategy of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is based on partnership between the public and private sectors," said Ali Yasin, director of international relations at the Iraqi Tourism Authority.
     
    "The Ministry of Tourism is counting on activating its work in the coming period through economic partnership between the public and private sectors," Yassin said in a statement.
     
    He pointed out that "the tourism sector is a fundamental pillar of the financial tributaries of the national economy and is conducive to sustainable development in Iraq."
     
    Iraq is characterized by a large diversity of tourism runs from north to south and could be used to create resorts that attract more tourists.
