    BAGHDAD / A member of the parliamentary economic committee, Najeeb Najib, revealed Saturday that the federal budget law for 2018 guaranteed the deduction of 3.8 of the salaries of employees, while confirming that this paragraph joined the list of observations and objections of MPs on the budget law.
    Najib told "Iraq News" that "the rate of deduction included in the Federal Budget Law for 2018 is 3.8 of the salaries of employees and retirees and not 4.8 as they are now traded," indicating that "this deduction is not necessary now, because the need of it disappeared after the end of the battle With terrorism and the gradual return of displaced people. "
    She added that "this deduction joined the list of observations and objections of the parliamentary blocs on the budget law and form a wave of resentment among the deputies and this will be an obstacle in the way of approval."
    It is noteworthy that the member of the Commission on Integrity Parliamentary, Haider al-Fawadi, called on Saturday, the government to fill the outlets of corruption rather than the retirement of employees and retirees, while announced that the budget of 2018 included the deduction of 4.8 percent of salaries of employees and retirees.
    "The government must fill the corruption outlets and hold the corrupt accountable instead of taking the salaries of employees and retirees," Al-Fawadi said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency. He called on the federal government to include the abolition of employee payroll deductions in the budget law next year.
    He added that "the deduction in the federal budget for 2018 is to deduct 4.8% of the salaries of employees and retirees out of total salary."
    Al-Fawadi stressed "the need to cancel deductions from the salaries of employees," noting that "all the justification for the termination of the war and the end of the war with the supporter of the terrorist after it was dedicated to support military operations and displaced people."
