[ltr]BAGHDAD - Mawazine Nouez[/ltr]
[ltr]Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi on Sunday assured Central Command commander General Joseph Fotel of the government's continuing work on border security.[/ltr]
[ltr]A statement from the Prime Minister's Office received a copy of the Mawazine News that "Abadi received at his office Sunday, the commander of Central Central Command General Joseph Fotel and his accompanying delegation, and discussed the cooperation between the two countries and regional situations and the final elimination of terrorism" .[/ltr]
[ltr]Abadi stressed, "the continuation of the government's work to secure its borders and not allow the infiltration of terrorists," noting "the importance of consolidating the state of victory and security stability and the direction of reconstruction and construction and revitalize the economy.[/ltr]
[ltr]General Fotel reiterated his country's full support for Iraq in all fields and its admiration for the victory in Iraq of terrorist gangs.[/ltr]
