    BAGHDAD / NINA / The MP of the State of Law coalition, Khalid al-Asadi said that the recent visit of the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu visit to Iraq reflect a genuine desire to go beyond the strained relationship between the two countries .

    He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that " the Iraqi-Turkish relations have witnessed a kind of tension during the last period for certain reasons , " noting that "the desire of both countries to overcome the problem pushed them to open up new prospects for dialogue and cooperation ."

    Al-Asadi added, " the ongoing developments in the region require to work together to promote mutual cooperation in order to overcome these developments without negative effects," adding that " the coming period of the relationship between Iraq and Turkey will be positive for development , recovery and end the previous differences."

    The Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu paid a visit to Iraq where he met with senior officials from politicians and clerics, focused on discuss in ways to overcome the tensions that have marred the relationship between the two countries during the previous period and begin a new relationship basis of mutual cooperation , mutual respect and non-interference in the internal affairs of both countries . / end
