The US ambassador to Iraq, Douglas Seelman, stressed that Iraq's financial treasury is not enough to rebuild its liberated cities.
"The new government should work to convince Arab and foreign investors to invest in Iraq to rebuild liberated areas that need a lot of money," Sileman said in a press statement. "Iraq needs external support to meet the reconstruction requirements."
"The United States has allocated $ 3.5 billion to companies wishing to invest in Iraq," he said.
On the political side, the US ambassador said: "The United States does not support any party or party or person at the expense of others in the upcoming elections, and would like to see a government representing all segments of Iraqi society."
