President Fuad Masum and Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi discussed a number of important political issues that Iraq is going through.
During their meeting yesterday evening at the presidential headquarters, Masoum and Abadi stressed the need to work hard to coordinate the various national efforts in favor of maturing the necessary understandings for the post-election phase and work to overcome obstacles that should not delay the formation of the next government and avoid any vacuum.
A presidential statement said that it was stressed to wait for the results of the judiciary and respect for all what is decided by the competent judicial bodies.
