    Today, Wednesday, August 23, 2023, the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Dr. Faiq Zaidan, hosted a meeting of the Presidencies, which included the President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’ Al-Sudani, and the Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, to discuss judicial and legal procedures for a number of important issues in the country. .
    The meeting reviewed the legal aspects of the results of the security dialogue between Iraq and the United States, on the future of the presence of the international coalition and bilateral security cooperation in accordance with the constitutional and legal frameworks. by the executive organs.
    The meeting also witnessed the discussion of judicial procedures in the security file, ways to enhance the security of the Iraqi borders, develop the work of the security forces charged with protecting them, and protect the areas and people living near the borders from any aggression or military actions, in addition to the efforts made by our armed forces of all kinds to pursue the remnants of terrorism, and consolidate Security and stability in all parts of our country, and the conferees stressed the importance of full cooperation between the authorities in the file of combating corruption and supporting governmental and judicial procedures in this file. The legislation and laws presented before the House of Representatives were discussed and the opinion of the judiciary was obtained in the laws that include in their clauses judicial procedures. 
    During the meeting, they discussed Iraq's regional and international relations, stressing the importance of constructive mutual visits with brotherly and friendly countries, and keenness to invest their outputs in the interest of Iraq.
