    Iraq and Egypt participated on Tuesday in the presidency of the first General Assembly of the Arab Union for Arbitration in the economic and investment disputes, which held its first meeting in the Egyptian capital Cairo.
    "The first general assembly of the Arab Union for Arbitration of Economic and Investment Disputes held its meeting in the Egyptian capital Cairo, in the presence of Advisor Kazar al-Rubaie, Chief Executive Officer of the two branches of the Union and the Court in Iraq on behalf of the Vice President of the Federation Haydar al-Zamili. "
    The agency added that "the chairman of the Egyptian Bar Association Sameh Ashour, opened the first meeting of the Arab Union for Arbitration of Economic and Investment Disputes, praising the pivotal role of Iraq in the formation of this union."
    Ashour quoted Ashour as saying that "Arab arbitration issues are the cornerstone of investment, trade and economy in the Arab world."
    For his part, Secretary General of the Council of Arab Economic Unity, Ambassador Mohammed Al-Rabea, said that the Arab Union for Arbitration of Economic and Investment Disputes is the first step to protect the Arab private sector, investment, industry and trade.
    The Union currently includes 14 Arab countries, and is expected to join the rest of the Arab countries in the near future, and the Union is competent to consider arbitration cases, one or both parties to maintain the Arab interests of the Union. Ending / 25
