The source said that the Speaker of Parliament Salim Jubouri called the heads of political blocs to hold a meeting on Saturday to vote on a decision to extend the work of Parliament.
He added that "the response was rejected, where the blocks of the rule of law and the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Sadrists and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan held this meeting and insisted on its position that the extension is unconstitutional."
He pointed out that Saturday will be the last day of the work of Parliament in the current session.
