The General Company for Land Transport started on Sunday the implementation of the automatic cutting system of the Manfest at the border crossing of Trebil between Iraq and Jordan.
"The move came to develop the working conditions at the border port of Trebil, as reached by modern technologies adopted at the international border crossings," the company's general manager Emad Abdul Razzaq al-Asadi said in a statement.
He pointed out that "it is hoped to implement the system of automatic cutting of the Menfest in the port of Safwan in the next few days," stressing that "the first step in the port of Trebil border because it is a vital gate of the gates of land transport between Iraq and Jordan."
"We will complete the development of the rest of the border crossings in a short record period, in order to keep pace with the transport movement and work mechanisms used in developed countries of the world."
