Jordan: 320 trucks entering the Trebil crossing daily

The Secretary-General of the Jordanian Ministry of Transport Anmar Al-Khasawneh, on Thursday, that 320 trucks pass daily from Jordan to the crossing of Trebil to unload cargo in Iraqi trucks.
Khasawneh said in a statement that "the number of trucks increased from about 90 trucks that were crossing daily with the opening of the crossing about a year ago, and that the transfer is still through the unloading of Jordanian truckloads in other Iraqi in the region between the two countries."
Khasawneh pointed to "a continuous traffic movement where buses arrive from Iraq to the crossing and passengers are taken to Jordanian buses."
Iraq and Jordan agreed last April to enter Jordanian and Iraqi trucks with their numbers, payloads and drivers directly to the two countries.
