    US President Donald Trump and his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rowhani exchanged insults during their address to the UN General Assembly. While Trump pledged more sanctions against Tehran, Rohani described the US president as suffering from "poor understanding". 
    "The United States launched an economic war against Iran by returning sanctions that were lifted under the nuclear agreement signed by Tehran in 2015 in return for curbing its activities," Rowhani said. Nuclear ".

In his 35-minute speech, the US president focused on Iran, which the United States accuses of seeking nuclear weapons and fueling unrest in the Middle East through its support To militant groups in Syria, Lebanon and Yemen. 
    "Iran's leaders are spreading chaos, death and destruction, they do not respect their neighbors or their borders or the sovereign rights of countries," Trump said.
