Shafak News / Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasimi confirmed that the missile strike by the Revolutionary Guards to the Al-Mawash group east of the Euphrates early today, proved Tehran's will to fight terrorism.
"What we can declare frankly is the serious will of Iran to strike the headquarters of the terrorists, and today we saw this will by the Islamic Revolution Guards," Qasimi said at his weekly press conference.
He expressed his hope that "oil dollars and political and economic disputes between some countries will not be an obstacle to the fight against terrorism."
At dawn today, the Revolutionary Guards launched a ballistic missile attack on terrorist groups belonging to the Daqash organization in Bu Kamal, east of the Euphrates in Syria, in an operation called "a prohibited strike" aimed at retaliating against the perpetrators of the Ahvaz attack.An attack by gunmen on the 22nd of this month, targeting a military parade in the city of Ahwaz in southwestern Iran, killed dozens of dead and wounded in the ranks of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and civilians.
