    Information / special ...
Economist Bassem Jameel Antoine, on Thursday, attempts to raise the price of a barrel in the budget for the year 2019 as positive in the event of Parliament can pass, indicating that raising the price to 60 dollars per barrel will reduce the deficit from 22 to 18 billion dollars.
"The draft budget sent by the previous government set the price of a barrel of oil at $ 56 with an estimated deficit of 22 billion dollars," Antoine said.
He added that "there are parliamentary movements to raise the price of a barrel in the budget to 60 dollars and therefore will have a positive return that the parliament could pass."
He pointed out that "raising the price of a barrel will reduce the deficit in the budget of 2019 from 22 to 19 or 18 billion dollars," noting that "Washington's attempts to reduce oil prices do not affect Iraq as a political game in which Washington balances between rock oil and Brent."
