The Iron and Steel Company unveils the first batch of rolling mill equipment from Turkey

Baghdad / ... General Company for Iron and Steel , one of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, revealed Thursday, for the start of charging rehabilitation equipment for the rolling mill from Turkish ports.
The official spokesman of the ministry, Abdul Wahid Alwan Al-Shammari said in a statement that " CTSTurkish began to transfer the first batch of cranes from the processing plant to the port, pointing to the imminent launch of the ship loaded with this equipment heading to the port of Umm Qasr south of Basra.
Al-Shammari said that trucks carrying a central blower belonging to the Turkish company UB Holdenk earlier arrived at the headquarters of the General Company for Iron and Steel. The central latticework equipment was placed at the site prepared near the al-Asfaji plant by the Turkish company cadres to be used in laying the foundations of the new equipment in the rolling mill As the work continues to dig the foundations for the equipment of the plant mentioned.
The General Company of Iron and Steel contracted with the Turkish company Yobe Holdenk to qualify the steel and rolling mills and their services to produce (500) thousand tons annually. Finished
