[rtl]The first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Hassan al-Kaabi, denied on Thursday reports that there were attempts to reduce the salaries of employees and retirees, except salaries of special grades from the Director General, Deputy, Minister and Deputy in the budget of 2019, due to lack of financial allocations.[/rtl]

[rtl]"All agree not to harm the salaries of employees and retirees, but we seek to revitalize the Iraqi economy through the activation of the private sector and the public and create additional job opportunities," the press office of al-Kaabi said today (December 13, 2018) .[/rtl]

[rtl]"We are not trying to improve our standard of living," he said.[/rtl]

[rtl]He pointed out that "the government can increase treasury revenues, through the fight against corruption, and activate the tourism sector, industry and agriculture, which can attract large numbers of manpower."[/rtl]
