[rtl]Baghdad's provincial council announced on Thursday that the central government will bear the amounts of the suspended railway project in the capital, pointing out that the amounts allocated to the project are large and can not be maintained by the province, paying to transfer those amounts to the federal budget.[/rtl]


[rtl]A member of the provincial council, Jassuma Azerjawi, in a press statement followed by "Trend Press" that "the project suspended train, completed its initial designs since 2016 at a cost close to the 8 billion dinars from the budget of the province of Baghdad, while the total amount of the total design was 40 Billion dinars, where the provincial council then refused to spend that large amount. [rtl]Azzergawi said that "the project of the hanging train, was the province of Baghdad, but the cost borne by the government, where the cost amounted to 50 billion dinars, a large amount compared to the budget allocated to the province."[/rtl]


[rtl]"There are studies that have been prepared for the train suspended by the implementing agencies, as the construction will be in the open spaces without creating traffic jams and away from damage to infrastructure, especially as most of the streets are narrow and overcrowded."[/rtl]
