On January 12, 2019, Rep. Qusay al-Yasiri said that it is shameful to say that the Shiites are fighting among themselves, in response to the recent events between the Asaib Ahl al-Haq and Al-Hakim movements recently.
"The country has recently emerged from a bitter war that is victorious with everyone's efforts, so we must preserve this achievement and not drag the country into the abyss," Yasiri said.
"It is shameful and shameful that some say that the Shiites did not find an enemy fighting him fighting among themselves," stressing that "the two parties should reach a settlement and that the initiative of the President and the Prime Minister take their role in solving the existing problem."
He expressed his "hope that the two parties to the conflict reached a consensus to resolve the crisis quickly before the aggravation."
Al-Yassiri's statement coincided with skirmishes in press statements between leaders of the al-Hakamah movement and the secretary-general of Asaib Ahl al-Haq, Qais al-Khazali, after a al-Hikma satellite channel leaked news that the al- [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/3048/%D9%85%D9%8A%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%B4%D9%8A%D8%A7 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D8%B5%D8%A7%D8%A6%D8%A8]Asaib militia[/url] had abused and vowed to sue the channel.
The news agency reported that the killer of the famous restaurant owner in Baghdad, the restaurant of Limona, who was assassinated on Thursday (January 10, 2019), was arrested and was confirmed to have identity cards proving his belonging to the militia.
In response, the Secretary General of the Umayyads Qais al-Khazali said: "The most despicable thing that a person can reach is to accuse others of falsity and disrespect if they disagree with him, unless he is paid, he will be excused because he will be an agent."
In the meantime, the director of the office of the wise, Salah al-Arabawi, that "the difference should not spoil the friendliness of the case .. The charge of labor and false accusation two sides of one coin!".
The Interior Ministry denied, through its spokesman Major General Saad Maan, "the arrest of the killer."
Following that, sources revealed the introduction of President Barham Saleh, an initiative to resolve the crisis peacefully, and left the demonstrations called for by the parties in Baghdad.
