Deputy calls on the Prime Minister to turn the central bank building into a hospital
BAGHDAD / Massila: The head of the parliamentary bloc of the civil reform of Ziad al-Janabi, Friday, February 8, 2019, transforming the building of the Central Bank in the street Rashid in central Baghdad to a hospital to treat cancer.
Al-Janabi said in a statement that "cancerous diseases have afflicted many Iraqi people and children in particular," noting that "the people can be treated in their own hospital instead of resorting to foreign countries, which cost them a lot of money."
"If the prime minister accepts this proposal, it will be the most significant achievement during his term as prime minister at the moment."
Al-Janabi said, "The current building on Al-Rasheed Street is adequate because it contains all that is needed by this institution." He added that "considering this building as a future cultural edifice for Iraq, a cancer hospital would be more effective than Iraq among developed countries, Hospital, which can contain the most prominent doctors and the latest devices in all countries of the world.
"The uncertainty is currently hovering over the amounts allocated to the new central bank building, which can be silenced all the votes if the building turned into a hospital in general and treatment of cancer in particular," he said.
