The Japanese Embassy in Baghdad said in a statement that "Japanese Ambassador Naoufumi Hashimoto signed with the President of the Iraqi Medical Association for Relief and Development Ahmed Al-Hiti held a grant of 83 thousand dollars from the Japanese official aid program for civil grants and human security projects to provide hospital Hawija in Kirkuk medical devices. "

"The project aims to improve the medical environment of infants in Hawija and surrounding areas after the liberation from gangs, through the provision of nine incubators and respiratory breathing device in infants at the hospital in Hawija in Kirkuk." 

"The grant comes within the framework of Japan's official aid program for civil grants and human security projects by the Government of Japan, with the aim of achieving immediate and direct results to improve the living conditions of the local community," the embassy said. 

"The Japanese government has implemented more than 90 such projects since 2003 in all areas of Iraq , including health care, education, poverty and public welfare," the embassy said .
