    BAGHDAD - 
    Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi on Wednesday assured US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo that foreign bases in Iraq would not be set up and that US forces would concentrate on their missions in fighting and supporting Iraqi forces. 
    "Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi received a telephone call from US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo," a statement from Abdul Mahdi's office said. 
    He added that "during the communication, the legal framework for the work of the international coalition forces, including the US forces operating in Iraq, whose task is to combat the urging and training of Iraqi forces and the non-establishment of foreign bases, all according to Iraqi approvals."
    The statement said that "the latest developments were discussed in the fight against the Damascus border border with neighboring Syria and the effects on Iraq and the importance of cooperation to compensate all of Iraq's human and material losses in the war with the dossier in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations and Iraqi laws and international norms, Iraq and its independence "

    Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi received a phone call from US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Tuesday, while the two sides discussed the work of US forces in Iraq and the non-establishment of foreign bases. 
    The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by Mawazine News that "Abdul Mahdi received a telephone call from US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo," noting that "the communication was confirmed the legal framework for the work of the coalition forces international, including US forces working in Iraq, whose main task is to combat the urging and training of Iraqi forces and the non-establishment of foreign bases, all according to Iraqi approvals. "

    BAGHDAD - Mawazine News 
    The Prime Minister, Adel Abdul Mahdi, on Wednesday, the importance of developing relations between Baghdad and Washington and support the efforts and plans of the Iraqi government in reconstruction projects and stability. 
    The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by Mawazine News, that "Abdul Mahdi received in his official office, Assistant Secretary of State for Conflict and Stability Operations, Dennis Natali, and the accompanying delegation." 
    "The importance of developing the relations between the two countries and the continuation of cooperation to establish security and stability and eliminate the terrorist gang," he said, adding that "the efforts of the government to continue the reconstruction of liberated and affected cities and help displaced people to settle in their liberated cities.
    For her part, the US official confirmed "support for Iraq and enhance its security and economic prosperity, and support the efforts and plans of the Iraqi government in the reconstruction and stability projects."
