The parliamentary legal committee said on Tuesday that the appointment of Minister of Higher Education Qusay al-Suhail as minister of education is incorrect, as the minister in charge of the agency should be preceded by a minister in the same government.
"The appointment of the Minister of Higher Education Qusay al-Suhail as Minister of Education is an agency that needs the decision of the Council of Ministers only," MP Salim Hmaza said in a statement.
He added that "the appointment of a minister in the proxy must be preceded by a minister in the same government voted in parliament, and if he was dismissed, the government's authority to appoint a minister to replace him in running the affairs of the ministry until the selection of a new minister."
Tamimi said that "the assignment of Suhail functions of the Minister of Education and agency evidence that the Sunni political blocs reached a dead end despite the meetings continued between them to resolve the ministries allocated to them." Ending / 25 n
