The ICMP said it was preparing to open mass graves in central and southern Iraq.

"The cadres of the Commission and its experts continue to work in the field in cooperation with their colleagues in the Iraqi institutions concerned, where the work is underway to complete the opening of mass graves in Sinjar and the village of Kujo in Nineveh province, and it is hoped that work will continue later in other locations in Central and southern Iraq ".
Bamberger invited the ambassador to participate in the meeting of the High Commissioners of the International Committee on Missing Persons and Ambassadors of the Middle East and the European Union, which will be held in The Hague on June 14, "stressing the importance of the presence of al-Alawi as a positive impact in supporting the activities of the Commission and its human values Iraq is one of the priority countries in the search for the fate of missing persons. "
