Iran: Gas exports to Iraq will increase during the summer

The head of Iran's national gas company, Hassan Montazir Turbti, said Tuesday that gas exports to Iraq will increase during the summer.
Iran's gas exports to Iraq are steadily increasing and are about to reach the ceiling of the contract, Turbiti told Tasnim.
"In the coming months in the summer, as Iraq's electricity consumption rises, we expect the increase of Iranian gas exports to Iraq," he said.
Iran's gas exports to Iraq in the coming months will reach 40 million cubic meters per day, he said.
