    A member of the House of Representatives on the mass of the homeland Hisham Suhail that "the region is at a dangerous crossroads requires political positions balanced and calm without escalation."
    "Since the beginning of the current crisis between Iran and the United States, Iraq has made clear its independent and balanced policy, which is far from any escalation or tendency of one side or another," Suhail said.
    "The Iraqi position at the Islamic summit in Mecca was a confirmation of Iraq's balanced policy away from escalation, which calls for dialogue and the exclusion of the region from the specter of war that affects everyone," Suhail said.
    He stressed that "the need for everyone to realize that the Iraqi position of the crisis reflects the real fears of what affects Iraq and its people in the event of evolving positions to an armed conflict may be Iraq's first sign of the relations with the parties to the crisis."
    He called on the countries of the region in particular to strengthen the role of Iraq in the process of mediation between the parties and not to let things go to an unknown end unknown.
    President Barham Salih expressed his rejection of any aggression and military escalation against Iran and Iraq's keenness to enhance the security of sisterly Arab countries and that targeting them is a target for Iraq's security.
    Barham Saleh said in his speech at the Arab summit in Mecca yesterday morning: "The security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the security of Iraq, the security of the UAE and the security of the Gulf countries is our security. We in Iraq are keen on the security of the Kingdom and the Gulf countries. Any targeting of its security is targeting our security. And denounce any hostile act directed at our brothers, because the breach of security in the region is a violation of Iraq's security and stability as well.
