[rtl]Ala Talabani, a member of the Foreign Relations Committee and chairman of the planning committee in Asian parliaments, said Thursday that Iraq after two years will be president of the Assembly of Asian Parliaments.[/rtl]
[rtl]Talabani said in a statement received by "tomorrow," that "the Conference of Asian Parliaments held in Baghdad early next month is a meeting of the Standing Committee for Budget Planning," noting that "Iraq is the Chairman of the Budget Committee of the Assembly of Asian Parliaments."[/rtl]
[rtl]"Iraq after two years will be president of the Assembly of Asian Parliaments," she said, adding that "the meeting will be in Baghdad and there have been preparations for some time with the General Secretariat of the Assembly of Asian Parliaments to prepare the conference and invite member states."[/rtl]
[rtl]She added that "there are 16 countries officially registered their attendance at the meeting and sent the names of its committees to participate from the countries of Asia and neighboring countries of Iraq and Arab countries."[/rtl]
[rtl]She pointed out that "the conference will discuss the development of a plan for the next period of the Assembly of Asian Parliaments. Syria, Jordan and Palestine. "[/rtl]
