Halbousi calls for the unification of positions in all forums on Arab and international issuesAlnoor News / Baghdad
Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed Al-Halbousi, while receiving a number of delegations participating in the meetings of the Planning and Budget Committee of the Asian Parliament, called for unifying positions in all forums on Arab and international issues.
Al-Halbousi received members of the Kuwaiti, Lebanese, Jordanian, Iranian, Turkish, Indian and Palestinian delegations in separate meetings on the sidelines of the Asian Parliament's Planning and Budget Committee in Baghdad.
He explained, "During the meetings discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations, and activation of friendship committees, and make all parliamentary efforts; to develop political, economic and trade relations to serve mutual interests."
The statement continued, "It was stressed the importance of activating parliamentary diplomacy; because of its significant role in resolving crises and bring people, as well as work to unify positions in all forums on Arab and international issues."
