Chairman of the Diyala Provincial Council Ali al-Daini, on Saturday, that the visit of the Ministers of Defense Najah al-Shammari and Interior Minister Yassin al-Yasiri to the province was without the knowledge of the provincial council.
Daini said in an interview to the information, that "the visit of the Ministers of Defense and Interior to Diyala was without the knowledge of the provincial council and we knew their arrival through the media, although we are the highest legislative body in Diyala."
Dini said, "All meetings held by the Ministers of Interior and Defense did not attend any of the members of the Diyala Council, although they concerned the security situation and discuss very vital files," noting that "attendance of the Diyala Council for these meetings is very important because it will present facts to reach the two ministers."
The speaker of Diyala said that he does not know if his invitation to attend the meetings of the interior and defense ministers is intentional or that it is merely a misrepresentation. .
The defense and interior ministers visited Diyala during the past 24 hours to discuss a number of vital files, most notably securing the flow of Iranian visitors through the Muntheriyah border crossing to perform the 40th visit. Done / 25
