The Baghdad Commission for Integrity revealed the issuance of an order to bring the former Minister of Health based on the provisions of Article (340) of the Penal Code, while the order included a number of officials in the ministry.
The Investigation Department of the Authority, in its details of the case, pointed out that "the Court of Inquiry, which deals with the integrity issues in the province of Karbala, has issued recruiting orders against the former Minister of Health and the Director General of the Department of Projects and Engineering Services in the Ministry, as well as the official room hospital capacity 400 beds in the Projects and Engineering Services Department, and four other engineers who are members of the Technical Committee for the award of compensation in the same department. ”
The department explained that "the order of recruitment came in the light of the irregularities in the project of establishing (the Turkish Hospital), a capacity (400) beds in the province of Karbala, pointing out that the order was issued in accordance with the provisions of Article (340) of the Penal Code."
