Legislative Parliamentary: The competent committees have not yet entered the details of the elections and the commission

The Parliamentary Legal Committee confirmed that it is continuing its discussions on the draft legislative elections for the Council of Representatives and the Electoral Commission until a positive outcome is reached.
Committee member Salim Hamza said in a press statement: "The Legal Committee and its joint committees in these two laws are trying to mature them to reach an appropriate formula, and then send them to the Presidency of the Parliament for inclusion in the agenda."
He added: "The discussions can continue for the next two weeks in preparation for a vote on the two laws," noting: "The competent committees have not yet entered into their details."
